Job Description

Shift: 7:00 PM-7:30 AMHourly Rate: $42.22 an hour + $$1.00 shift differentialResponsibilitiesExecute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning electrical systems in an industrial/manufacturing environmentInterpret and create electrical drawings & schematicsInstall electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipmentInstall safety and distribution components: switches, resistors, circuit break panels, etcConnect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of componentsPrepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through conduitsPrevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulate cables, cleaning circuits, etc.Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs electronic tests and inspections, cleaning contacts or circuit boards, ensuring that systems are grounded.Perform mechanic skills focus on electrical, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facility.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (experience)
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and interpret work instructions and safety rules (experience)

  • Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning electrical systems in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Interpret and create electrical drawings & schematics
  • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment
  • Install safety and distribution components: switches, resistors, circuit break panels, etc
  • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
  • Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through conduits
