Job Description

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will support plant quality programs by auditing processes, reviewing documentation, and verifying that in-process materials, finished products, ingredients, and manufacturing supplies meet established standards. You will support the sample retain program through proper tracking and organization of retained samples, while ensuring accurate documentation and communicating any non-conforming conditions to production and leadership teams.A Taste of Your ResponsibilitiesPerform audits of in-process materials, finished goods, ingredients, and manufacturing supplies to ensure compliance with product specifications and food safety standardsReview product specifications and compare them to production documentation, including certificate of analysis documentationIdentify and communicate non-conforming conditions, including out-of-specification or out-of-code situations, to production and supervisionSupport investigations into quality deviations and help identify root causes and corrective actionsMaintain accurate and timely documentation, including quality records, deviation reports, and weekly and monthly summariesInput and maintain data in systems to ensure permanent and traceable quality recordsVerify accuracy of data and documentation prior to escalating concernsSupport production teams in resolving quality issues, including auditing operator practices and verifying adherence to proceduresParticipate in internal audits and support compliance with quality systems and food safety programsPerform additional assignments and projects as needed to support plant quality objectivesIngredients Required for Your SuccessHigh school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or additional certifications preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in a quality or food manufacturing environmentExperience working with quality systems in a manufacturing setting preferredKnowledge of food safety practices, quality standards, and basic microbiological concepts preferredProficiency with Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and WordStrong math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentagesSkilled in interpreting specifications, data, and measurementsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyPhysical RequirementsMore information on the essential tasks and facility will be shared during the hiring process. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or additional certifications preferred (degree in ged required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality or food manufacturing environment (experience, 3 years)
  • Experience working with quality systems in a manufacturing setting preferred (experience)
