Position SummaryThe Assistant General Manager, Events role is primarily responsible for the service execution of Nelson’s Green Brier’s onsite events, working closely with the Event Coordinator and client to deliver excellent hospility service on all events. Secondarily, this position will support the restaurant at NGB when needed for a la carte service and programmed dinners and events. This position reports to the Sr. Assistant General Manager and will closely partner with the Events team and Culinary team. Key ResponsibilitiesService Leadership & ExecutionLead front-of-house service during events, ensuring efficient, polished, and professional service executionAct as the primary point of contact for event service staff throughout the eventDirect pacing of food and beverage service, including courses, bar service, and transitionsMaintain visibility on the floor to monitor service quality and guest experienceLead front-of-house service in the Restaurant as needed.Attend weekly BEO meeting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum.
