Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities: Organize and maintain the placement of vehicles within the designated zone or move area to the defined standard established by lot operations leadershipDaily, utilize information from the Supervisor and Lot Ops dashboards to make the move decisions to stage their assigned zone areaResponsible for continuous improvement efforts relating to safety and efficient movement of vehicles in and out of their assigned zone areaMove vehicles and stage them in a safe arrangement to their proper work destinations to eliminate multiple drop off points and less than full loadsConfirm that all vehicles can operate safely, and engage service and towing teams when inoperable vehicles are foundLabel vehicles with sale and routing labels to maintain accurate movements and eliminate the need for crew leaders to print and label staged units before transportCommunicate with crew leaders and managers regarding the status of inventory levels within the defined move area and make the decision of what is prioritySet an example in behavior by championing Cox/Manheim values and ensuring that all employees are treated with respectImplement all company policies and procedures related to employee and customer conductBe a visible representation of Manheim’s safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures, and modeling the behaviors related to these directivesPerform other duties as assigned by managementMay be required to work overtime as business needs dictateMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of related work experienceOR any degree or certification above a High School Diploma/GED plus 1 year of related work experienceOR 5 years of related work experienceSafe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissionsBasic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump starting vehicles.)Knowledge of lot operations/lot layout preferredKnowledge of LDM preferredRequired to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusAbility to stand for prolonged periods of timeAbility to lift 1-15 poundsWork Environment:Contant exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moderate noise levelDrug TestingTo be employed in this role, you’ll need to clear a pre-employment drug test.
