Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, or a related field. (degree in electrical)
• 5+ years of experience in commissioning management, with at least 2 years in data center projects. (experience, 5 years)
• Strong understanding of mission-critical systems, including UPS, generators, cooling systems, and fire suppression. (experience)
• Familiarity with local regulatory codes. (experience)
• Experience using commissioning software and tools (experience)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. (experience)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. (experience)
• Knowledge of safety protocols and risk management in a data center environment. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end commissioning process for data center projects, ensuring systems are tested, validated, and operational according to design specifications.
• Develop and execute the commissioning plan, including test scripts, performance metrics, and compliance with industry standards
• Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless project handover and system integration.
• Conduct site inspections and witness testing for critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, and security systems.
• Ensure all commissioning activities comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors to resolve technical issues and align with project timelines.
• Maintain detailed commissioning documentation, including test reports, risk assessments, and punch lists.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during testing phases, providing solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
• Manage the commissioning schedule, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met efficiently.
• Support post-commissioning activities, including performance monitoring, fine-tuning, and handover to operations teams.
