Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. (degree in safety)
• 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in construction, facilities, or data centre projects. (experience, 5 years)
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices (experience)
• Experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety audits. (experience)
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills. (experience)
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-risk, mission-critical environments. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and standards for data centre projects.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and site inspections to ensure safe working conditions.
• Monitor compliance with local HSE regulations, international standards, and company requirements.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training programs for employees and contractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to integrate safety into all project activities.
• Track HSE performance metrics and report to senior management.
• Ensure emergency preparedness plans and procedures are in place and tested.
• Promote a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.
