Job TitleElectrical Project SupervisorJob Description SummaryThe Electrical Project Supervisor will coordinate technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, materials, permits, safety documentation, client communication, progress updates and close-out documentation required to deliver assigned works effectively.Job DescriptionThe position supports improved delivery control for minor electrical works and projects by providing dedicated oversight of planning, labour coordination, site execution, material readiness, safety documentation and close-out. This allows the Electrical Manager to retain overall operational accountability while day-to-day project delivery is managed more consistently.Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of assigned electrical projects and minor works under the guidance of the Electrical Manager. The role plans, resources and oversees delivery so works are completed safely, on time, to the required quality standard, within budget and in line with expected margins.Key AccountabilitiesProject planning and deliveryCoordinate assigned electrical minor works and projects from handover to close-out, including scope review, staging, labour, materials and site constraints.Manage start-up, delivery milestones, variations, defects and completion requirements.Deliver works within agreed timeframes, budget and expected gross margin targets.Resource coordinationAssign and coordinate technicians and subcontractors based on skillset, availability, site access and programme requirements.Provide clear instructions, priorities, expected outcomes and technical clarification before and during works.Monitor labour hours, productivity and progress, escalating issues early where delivery or margin may be impacted.Procurement and materials managementProcure and coordinate materials, equipment and hired plant in line with scope, programme, approved suppliers and purchasing requirements.Confirm lead times, delivery dates, availability and suitability of critical materials before works commence.Track material costs and manage substitutions, shortages or delays with the Electrical Manager, estimator or client as required.Quality assurance and complianceComplete site inspections, installation checks and spot checks to confirm workmanship, compliance and client requirements.Ensure work meets applicable electrical standards, manufacturer requirements, client specifications and Cushman & Wakefield quality expectations.Manage defects, rework, non-conformances and quality issues through to close-out.Submit accurate completion records, test results, certification and handover documentation within required timeframes.Health, safety, environment and permitsLead HSSE requirements for assigned projects, ensuring required processes, documentation, permits and controls are in place before works proceed.Prepare and maintain required safety documentation, including SWMS/JSA, isolations, risk assessments, pre-starts and toolbox records.Complete toolbox meetings, pre-start briefings and site safety checks with technicians and subcontractors.Ensure access approvals and client site requirements are current, understood and followed.Escalate hazards, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions in line with Cushman & Wakefield processes.Financial and administrationTrack labour, material, subcontractor and plant costs against approved budgets.Identify scope changes and variations early, ensuring approval is obtained before additional work proceeds where cost, programme or margin may be affected.Maintain accurate job records, including notes, purchasing, safety records, completion details and documentation for claims, invoicing, reconciliation, reporting and audit purposes.Assist with monthly project reconciliation, WIP review and close-out of completed jobs.Support the Electrical Manager and estimators with technical input on scope, methodology, labour planning and material requirements.Client, supplier and subcontractor coordinationMaintain professional communication with clients, facilities managers, suppliers, contractors and subcontractors.Provide clear updates on progress, access needs, risks, delays and completion requirements.Identify future work opportunities or additional client requirements and escalate as appropriate.Represent Cushman & Wakefield professionally on client sites.Key Measures of PerformanceAssigned projects and minor works completed safely, within agreed timeframes and to the required quality standard. Jobs delivered within approved budgets and in line with expected gross margin targets. Labour, materials, subcontractor and plant costs monitored and controlled throughout delivery. Safety documentation, permits, toolbox meetings and pre-starts completed before and during works as required. Completed works accurately recorded and submitted to administration for invoicing within agreed timeframes. Quality inspections, completion checks, defects and close-out documentation completed to expected standard. Internal and external customer satisfaction maintained through clear communication and reliable delivery. Future work, variations and risks identified early and escalated appropriately. Compliance with Cushman & Wakefield HSSE Q&R policies, procedures and legislative requirements. Zero lost time injuries and active reporting of hazards, incidents and near misses. Position DimensionsThe role supports the Electrical division by coordinating technicians, subcontractors, suppliers and project resources to achieve safe delivery, client satisfaction, project completion, revenue and margin outcomes. The position does not have formal direct reports, but it has day-to-day coordination and site supervision responsibility for personnel and subcontractors assigned to specific works.
