Job TitleFacilities ManagerJob Description SummaryResponsible for providing oversight of the Facilities function within the site operations division. The Facilities Manager will work closely with the Cushman & Wakefield Site Operations Leads at each site and the other Facilities Managers in region and globally to ensure they are providing a safe environment for employees, contractors and visitors, are meeting our contractual obligations and day to day deliverables and applying a consistent and methodical approach to their processes. This role will work closely with the Global Asset & Facilities Management CoE Lead to maintain, review and evolve the processes and playbooks and to deliver the Asset Lifecycle Management Plan and all capital projects.Job DescriptionAbout the role:Ensure the assigned portfolio complies with all relevant laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines.Maintain a safe, healthy, well-maintained, and serviceable workplace in line with agreed standards and client expectations.Respond promptly and effectively to risks, hazards, incidents, emergencies, and operational issues.Develop and execute the Site Facilities Management & Operations Plan, covering inspections, planned and reactive maintenance, and site upkeep.Manage and optimise suppliers and service providers, including sourcing, contracting, performance management, and relationship management.Prepare and deliver regular facilities management reports covering site performance, incidents, costs, budgets, and service delivery.Manage OPEX and CAPEX planning, budgeting, cost control, tracking, and reporting.Oversee commercial contracting and Procure-to-Pay processes, including work orders, purchase orders, approvals, and vendor payments.Provide specialist facilities management expertise, advice, and support to C&W and client stakeholders.Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and optimisation of facilities services and operational processes.Maintain accurate facilities documentation and records, including manuals, plans, drawings, reports, procedures, and guidelines.Lead and manage direct and indirect reports, including employee engagement, goal setting, performance management, and development.Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships, maintain high levels of engagement and satisfaction, and support other business requirements as needed.About you:Minimum 5+ years’ experience in leading, developing and coaching remote teamsStrong experience in Facilities Management operations in corporate office environments where the client is an occupierStrong experience in regulatory compliance, Australian and international standardsExperience in similar sized portfolios, complex corporate hierarchies and preferably as an outsourced service providerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong client-focus and customer experience mindset essentialStrong experience in stakeholder/contractor managementA degree or diploma in a related area such as Facilities Manager, CRE or property management or equivalent experience is preferredExperience in operating in a continuous improvement frameworkProven leadership ability, administrative ability, technical background and project responsibility experience requiredWhy join Cushman & Wakefield?As one of the leading global real estate services firms transforming the way people work, shop and live working at Cushman & Wakefield means you will benefit from;Being part of a growing global company;Career development and a promote from within culture;An organisation committed to Diversity and InclusionWe're committed to providing work-life balance for our people in an inclusive, rewarding environment.We achieve this by providing a flexible and agile work environment by focusing on technology and autonomy to help our people achieve their career ambitions.
