Job TitleFinance Business PartnerJob Description SummaryWe’re now seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our IFM team in Melbourne. We combine market insight, agility, and a collaborative culture to deliver solutions others can’t see.About the RoleAs a Finance Business Partner, you’ll play a critical role in reporting, planning, budgeting, and supporting operational leaders to deliver financial and non‑financial outcomes. You’ll translate data into meaningful insights, ensure financial controls are met, and contribute to continuous improvement across the account.Key ResponsibilitiesMonthly Reporting – Deliver timely monthly finance requirements, monitor performance against KPI targets, translate data into insights, review P&L, manage accruals, prepayments, variance commentary, and ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations.Budgeting & Forecasting – Lead annual budgets and periodic forecasts, define assumptions, support business streams, complete bottom‑up cost builds, identify risks, and present outputs to operational teams.Risk & Controls – Own client finance controls and C&W SOX compliance, working with internal teams and auditors.Contract Financial Management – Manage contract profitability, support annual operating plans, and partner with account leadership.Projects & Improvements – Drive ad‑hoc projects, review systems and processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Relationship Management – Build strong rapport with internal stakeholders, support operational teams, deliver high‑quality service, and proactively address issues to minimise escalations.What You’ll BringStrong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.Advanced analytical capability and ability to present financial concepts to non‑finance audiences.Experience working autonomously within a specialised team.Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.Strong working knowledge of AASB16 lease accounting.Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).Qualified Accountant (CPA, CIMA, CFA, CA preferred).Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills; Anaplan and JDE experience advantageous.Core CapabilitiesStrategic thinking and commercial awareness.Ability to deliver extraordinary results and lead through change.Strong customer service focus and collaborative mindset.High attention to detail, planning, organisation, and time management.Effective communication and business writing skills.Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capability.Systems and data management proficiency.Why Cushman & Wakefield?You’ll join a global organisation known for innovation, collaboration, and empowering people to deliver exceptional outcomes.
