Initially, you will establish the structure, governance and delivery standards before scaling headcount.You will:Establish and lead Cushman & Wakefield’s Ireland Design & Build platformDevelop the operating model, governance structure and risk frameworkDefine the commercial strategy and revenue targetsShape marketing campaigns and brand positioning for the new service lineLead delivery of complex D&B projectsBuild and grow a high-performing delivery teamKey ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Operational LeadershipCreate and implement the Ireland Design & Build business planEstablish strong commercial governance, reporting and risk controlsDevelop procurement strategy, contractor frameworks and supply chain modelsAlign the service with wider PDS growth objectivesBusiness Development & Market PositioningLead client engagement and secure new D&B instructionsDevelop strong occupier and developer relationships across IrelandShape marketing strategy and targeted campaigns to position the serviceLead pitches, fee proposals and commercial negotiationsProject Delivery & RiskProvide executive oversight across live projectsEnsure robust programme, cost and risk managementMaintain statutory, regulatory and H&S complianceEnsure consistent quality and brand alignmentTeam DevelopmentRecruit and scale a contractor-minded D&B teamDrive performance, utilisation and margin managementEmbed a delivery-focused, commercially disciplined cultureAbout YouThis role requires a strong contractor-side leader rather than a pure advisory consultant.Essential:Proven experience within a main contractor or established Design & Build organisationExperience leading construction delivery teamsStrong commercial acumen and P&L understandingExperience establishing governance and delivery frameworksTrack record delivering complex commercial projectsStrong knowledge of procurement routes, contracts and risk allocationDegree-qualified in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Surveying or similarDesirable:Chartered status (MRICS, MCIOB, MAPM or equivalent)Experience transitioning contractor capability into a consultancy environmentExperience building or scaling a new business unit Cushman & Wakefield is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
