This role provides direct supervision to janitorial staff, supports account management activities, and maintains strong client relationships. The Janitorial Supervisor serves as a hands-on leader and a key representative of C&W Services at the site level.Job DescriptionThe Janitorial Supervisor reports to the Senior Operations Manager and works under the direction of the Account Manager or Account Director. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide overall direction, coordination, and supervision of janitorial personnel across assigned shifts and buildingsSupervise daily operations to ensure services are performed as contracted and meet or exceed customer specificationsAssist in managing project activities and overseeing assigned janitorial crewsCoordinate staffing, work schedules, and assignments; prepare and submit weekly payroll time sheetsEstablish and maintain work performance and quality standardsConduct routine site inspections, quality assurance checks, and facility auditsManage inventory, materials, and equipment usage, including key control proceduresAddress and resolve on-site service delivery issues, employee concerns, and customer inquiriesSupport snow removal services as required (seasonal)Lead orientation and onboarding of new employees; provide ongoing training, coaching, and developmentParticipate in safety programs, safety committees, and required management or technical trainingOversee conference room setups and assist with internal moves or special projects as neededMaintain effective and professional client relationships through regular communicationPerform employee evaluations, troubleshooting, and corrective actions as neededPerform additional duties as assigned to support site and account objectivesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredOne to three (1–3) years of supervisory experience in janitorial or facility servicesWorking knowledge of cleaning methods, procedures, equipment, and safety standardsAbility to manage schedules, inventory, payroll, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with employees, management, and clientsFluent in English and Spanish preferred/requiredMotivated, proactive, and solution-oriented leadership styleAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required for operational supportBackground check requiredCommitment to safety, quality, and customer serviceCushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
