This role is ideally suited to a recently qualified MRICS surveyor or someone with up to two years' post-qualification experience who is looking to develop their career within a leading global real estate advisory business.The successful candidate will work alongside experienced valuation professionals, delivering high-quality valuation advice to a broad client base including lenders, investors, developers and property companies. This is an excellent opportunity to build technical expertise, gain exposure to a diverse range of valuation instructions, and develop your career within a supportive and collaborative team.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake valuations for a variety of purposes, including:Secured lendingFinancial reportingAcquisitions and disposalsPortfolio analysisStrategic advisory assignmentsCore DutiesCarry out property inspections and prepare valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.Deliver high-quality valuation and advisory services across a broad range of commercial property assets.Develop and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication and excellent service delivery.Work closely with colleagues across agency, capital markets, lease advisory and valuation teams nationally.Build market knowledge to support valuation advice and identify emerging market trends.Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment while continuing to develop technical knowledge and professional expertise.Skills & ExperienceMRICS qualified (or recently qualified).Ideally up to two years' post-qualification experience within commercial valuation.RICS Registered Valuer status is desirable but not essential.Experience preparing valuation reports for secured lending, financial reporting and advisory purposes.Strong analytical, organisational and report-writing skills.Commercial awareness with confidence in client-facing situations.Ability to manage workload effectively, working both independently and collaboratively.Full UK driving licence required.I would also make one further change to the What We Offer section to reinforce that this is a development opportunity:Opportunity to work within a leading global real estate advisory business.Exposure to a diverse range of valuation instructions and clients.Supportive team environment with experienced colleagues.Structured professional development and clear career progression.Competitive salary and benefits package.Flexible and hybrid working environment.This version reads as a role for a recently qualified surveyor while still giving you the flexibility to appoint someone more experienced if the right person comes along.
