Job Description:KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Financial & Corporate Accounting: Manage the monthly financial process and will work with Amplifi internal team (planning, activation, and billing team) as well as the clientDiscuss reporting, questions related to billing, and resolve variances in billed vs. planned, and close out quarterly PO’s 90 days after MOSCompare billing against approved spendEnsure discrepancies are resolved within 90 days after MOSProvide timely, accurate and meaningful information and reports to AOR Leadership Team and to client.Manage group operations systems and controls, policies and proceduresAssist with internal and external auditsClient & Internal Relationships: Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients and the Leadership TeamStay on top of business and client/agency concerns to head off issues earlyInvest time to investigate opportunities in order to provide better reporting and analysis supportEnsure collaboration among all groups; fosters great teamworkProvide appropriate management updates and solicit feedback and direction when appropriateStrategic Thinking & Leadership: Ensure key information is provided to the team regarding client/internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.Actively keep current with industry trends, tools – systems, research, resources and associationsRespond appropriately when presented with problems and issuesSeek lasting solutions rather than quick fixesEnsure appropriate Finance/Accounting staff utilizationProvide guidance to team members and nurture/promote team environmentTrain, motivate and develop assigned staffConstruct and deliver accurate, honest and timely performance management documentsEXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Bachelor's degree3+ years’ experience in Agency Media Financial Operations – developing and managing process, policy and procedureKnowledge of accepted accounting principles and practicesKnowledge of auditing principles and practicesDemonstrate and utilize strong systems and analytical skillsAbility to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, exhibit solid business instincts, and thrive in fast-paced environmentWorking knowledge of Bill/Pay process using MediaOceanHigh-level proficiency in Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookThe annual base salary range for this position is ($51,000 - $72,800). Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
