Job Description:ROLE PURPOSEThe primary responsibility of the Sr. Associate is to negotiate cost efficient plan recommendations on behalf of the clients. Supported by the Associate media planner/buyer, the Sr. Associate coordinates all aspects of the planning and buying process.This position is essential in the day-to-day tactical management of the media planning and buying and requires an individual that works well in a team-based, fast paced, detail-oriented environment. The successful Sr. Associate is resourceful and demonstrates the initiative to participate and lead in advanced projects.This position is for the Offshore Team of Dentsu Argentina, and works for teams located in Dentsu's agencies in other countries. Has a local support team that leads the integration and relationship with the other members of the Offshore Team in Argentina.TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIESBuying and Execution:Negotiate cost efficient schedules on behalf of the clientsCoordinate all aspects of the planning and buying processCampaign Maintenance: Create production grids, posting instructions, trafficking, creative and putting together POP decksWork closely with vendorsSeek creative solutions to enhance buy productWork within the ECOS tool; enter in ATBs, Contracts and mappingProficient understanding of system and tools; ECOS, Telmar, Geopath, OCS, M1Send out competitive requestsManage all discrepancy/billing resolutionKeep Managers informed of workloadClient & Internal Relationships:Manage expectations of clients and their deliverablesGrow business opportunities within current clientsWork with supervisor to develop and oversee junior staff, manage time, assure projects are completed on time and adhere to (within) client budgetKeeps up with the latest trends in mediaInforms client/team of new opportunities or issuesBuilds positive relationships with internal and external teams and sets good example for assistant levelAttends all status meetings when appropriateManage relationships with external client vendorsMay be responsible for informing team of new opportunities or issuesParticipates and contributes in face-to-face client or vendor meetingsStrategic Thinking & Leadership:Keeps current with market research (industry periodicals, email newsletters, websites)Ensure key information is provided to team regarding client/vendor issues, market landscape changes, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.Provide guidance to team members nurture/promote team environmentBe curious on the strategic importance of OOH and how it impacts the wider media mixResponsible for constructing and delivering accurate, honest and timely post performance management documentsWorks with management team (Manager/AMD/Media Director) to develop strategies for media buysCommunications Skills:Expresses oneself clearly and concisely in oral communicationsWrites in a clear, compelling, and concise mannerOrganizes ideas and information logically and sequentiallyMay assist in the development of media presentations and tactical POVsDevelop client reports that are clear, compelling, and persuasiveEnsure key information is provided to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.As part of the Offshore Team of Dentsu Argentina, you must actively participate in the weekly virtual networking meetings with other members of the Argentina offshore team.You must also participate in the Offshore Team's peer-to-peer engagement activities held periodically in our Buenos Aires offices, except for those who are not located in that city.QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree1-3 years industry experience, including at least 1 year at the Associate/Assistant levelStrong math and analytical skillsMedia vendor negotiation experienceKnowledge of standard OOH concepts and formatsAdvanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)PERSONAL SKILLSStrong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to build strong relationships with the teams you work with.Proactivity and collaboration with colleagues.Attention to detail and precision in your work style.Integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.#LI-CA2Location:Buenos AiresBrand:IprospectTime Type:Full timeContract Type:Permanent
