Job Description
Edwards Lifesciences is expanding its global technology capabilities with the launch of a new IT Innovation Hub in Pune, India. The Hub strengthens the technology foundation that supports our business worldwide, working in close partnership with teams across regions to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions at scale. Designed as a long-term investment, the Pune Hub will advance newer digital capabilities such as automation, data, AI, and cloud, and will include roles spanning end user services, application development, and enterprise platform teams. Together, these teams will help Edwards operate more efficiently and accelerate innovation in support of our mission of advancing patient care.How you’ll make an impact: Lead cross-functional IT Integration initiative involving comprehensive IT due diligence, conducting security assessments, enhancing end-user productivity, and integrating networks, cloud services, and applications for M&A initiatives.Manage Transitional Service Agreements (TSAs) and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to carve out both unstructured and structured data, as well as various application and infrastructure components for Divestiture initiatives.Extensive understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to managing large scale projects (having managed projects involving implementation of ERP, CRM, CLM, PLM, etc. systems)Lead the execution of tasks as defined in the project management plan in order to achieve the project goals, and actively manages project riskDetermine and discern detailed requirements on larger scale projects to establish the project deliverables, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs to keep the project management plan updated and reflective of authorized project changesFacilitate the creation and approval of business cases, and utilizes historical data and expert judgment in order to understand project limitationsActively lead one or more Project Management Office (PMO) continuous improvement activitiesAssess project performance to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify variances, perform required corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholdersEstablish and maintain team members and project stakeholder relationships, expectations, and communications, both internal and external.Manage project closure activities, including gathering lessons learned and driving changes to future for continuous improvementServe as a project management subject matter expert, including guiding and mentoring other project managers; demonstrate expertise in a business process, professional discipline, market, or productOther incidental dutiesWhat you'll need (Required):Bachelor's Degree in related fieldA minimum of eight years hands-on experience managing projects of increasing complexity or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria requiredProject Management Professional (PMP).
