Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; (experience)
• Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings; (experience)
• Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods; (experience)
• Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality; (experience)
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); (experience)
• Work any shift as required to meet business needs; (experience)
• Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus; (experience)
• Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws. (experience)

• Physical requirements of the job include: (experience)
• o Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed. (experience)
• o Capability to ascend and descend ladders using a three-point grip. (experience)
• o Frequent tasks will include squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching, and standing. (experience)
• o Ability to perform hand squeezes requiring force up to 30 lbs. (experience)
• o Performing repetitive tasks or motions for extended periods. (experience)
• o Maintaining balance and coordination, especially when working on elevated platforms or in areas with uneven surfaces. (experience)
• o Capability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods, often in varying environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, or humid environments). (experience)
• o Adequate visual acuity to perform detailed inspections or precision work. (experience)

Responsibilities

• Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructions;
• Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties)
• Operate powered machine tools such as vertical CNC mills, manual and CNC lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment;
• Perform machine setups and/or operate equipment that is setup by more skilled operators;
• Complete machining tasks within a customer job;
• Routinely perform initial setup on new parts;.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to consistently produce high-quality products.
• May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
