Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; (experience)
• Possess math and precision measurement skills and able to read machine drawings; (experience)
• Experience using a CMM (coordinate measuring machine) a plus (experience)
• Possess advanced knowledge of machining methods; (experience)
• Ability to make complex code adjustments within program. (experience)
• Experience using programming software a plus. (experience)
• Knowledge of advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (experience)
• Astute attention to detail to drive Safety and Quality; (experience)
• Ability to perform visual checks and handle materials responsibly while wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE); (experience)
• Work any shift as required to meet business needs; (experience)
• Experience in working in an ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus; (experience)
• Candidate must have the capacity to comply with the federally mandated requirements of U.S. export control laws. (experience)

• Occasional work may be required in confined workspaces. (experience)
• Ability to perform hand squeezes requiring force up to 30 lbs. (experience)
• Performing repetitive tasks or motions for extended periods. (experience)
• Maintaining balance and coordination, especially when working on elevated platforms or in areas with uneven surfaces. (experience)
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods, often in varying environmental conditions (e.g., hot, cold, or humid environments). (experience)

Responsibilities

• Work is job oriented, following detailed blueprints, customer specifications, and internal work instructions;
• Operate hand tools, precision measuring equipment, and computers, (desktop and machine control varieties)
• Operate 4th & 5th axis mills, live tooling lathes, surface and centerless grinders, cup grinders, bandsaws, and other machining equipment;
• Complete machining tasks within a customer job;
• Make complex code adjustments within program.
• Collaborate with programmers on program/fixture creation for new parts.
• Create hand-typed CNC code (i.e., chip prevention lines, fixturing)
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing guidelines to consistently produce high-quality products. Follow weekly scheduled work to track with on-time shipping.
• May be tasked with preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties.
