This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career or looking to transition into a purchasing role—no extensive buying experience required.We’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.Responsibilities:Assist with day-to-day purchasing and procurement tasksMonitor inventory and manage product shortagesCommunicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to support order needsHelp process purchase orders and track order statusExpedite orders and follow up on deliveriesSupport basic reporting and data analysis related to inventory and usageAssist with resolving invoice discrepancies and freight billing questionsMaintain accurate product and order information in systemsResearch product specifications when neededProvide support in resolving customer and supplier inquiriesQualifications:Interest in supply chain, purchasing, or operations (prior experience is helpful but not required)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to follow processes and learn new systems quicklyBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong communication and customer service skillsPositive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethicNice to Have (Not Required):Any exposure to procurement, inventory, or warehouse environmentsFamiliarity with manufacturing or MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) productsAt Ferguson, we care for each other.
