If you take pride in your craft and want a stable career with a Fortune 500 company close to home — this is your opportunity.What You’ll Do:You’ll fabricate cut-to-length, finished-end pipe for customer orders and stock inventory — working with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, thermoplastic, and PVC across a wide range of pipe diameters.Cut, thread, bevel, groove, and weld specialized pipe materialsPerform precise machine setups and verify measurements to required tolerancesRead and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructionsOperate overhead cranes, forklifts, and mechanical lifting equipment safelyPerform daily equipment inspections and troubleshoot minor issuesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all timesUse RF devices to locate, move, and stage material as neededWhat You’ll Bring:High School Diploma or GED required; trade/technical school or military experience preferred4–6 years machine operation experience — pipe cutting and threading preferred3–5 years forklift/MHE operation preferred2–4 years welding or pipe end finishing experience preferredStrong attention to detail, safety mindset, and team-first attitudeBenefits:At Ferguson, we care for each other.
