Job Description:Engagement Lead, Fidelity Consulting Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this positionThe Role As Engagement Lead, you lead the day-to-day management of strategy projects critical to Fidelity Businesses. Our projects aim to solve Fidelity’s most critical business issues, and your role is highly valued by business leaders to drive critical thinking of strategic initiatives forward. The project management and business partner relationship support that you provide to the team and our internal clients helps craft the future of Fidelity’s businesses. These projects are typically staffed with three to six associates over a four to six-month timeframe. Your role is to help scope the project, lead and manage workstreams, develop your team, and partner with senior Fidelity business leaders to drive successful outcomes.The Expertise & Skills you bring You hold an MBA.The position requires significant management consulting, strategy, or similar experience with at least one year in the project manager role, preferably with a premier consulting firm or in a strategy group.You have 7-10 years of work experience, including pre-MBA experience; consulting, strategy or financial services industry experience is a plus.Demonstrated interest or experience in the financial services industry, particularly in the intermediary and institutional space.You must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, project management and problem-solving capabilities.You have both the flexibility and the skill to lead and contribute to teams.Experience with project and team management, specifically including strategy development, evaluation of new products and services, and business transformationUnderstanding and knowledge of the financial intermediary and institutional industry, including but not limited to, industry dynamics, client needs, emerging trends, new products or solutions, and competitive landscapeUnderstanding of key intermediary and institutional activities including but not limited to investment sales, capital markets, advisor solutions and go-to-market strategies.Ability to synthesize analysis and research into strategic insights and practical recommendations, including strategic analysis, financial analysis, operational analysis, and primary/secondary researchCapable of influencing middle to senior management through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentationsAbility to assess risk and operationalize findings - turning research into actionsProficient in quantifying challenges and requirements related to executionDriver of decisions in complex environments with multiple partnersSkilled in building relationships with peers and executives in a variety of capacitiesA desire to work with people development and mentoringThe TeamFidelity Consulting ('FC') consists of ~100 top talent strategy consultants who work across the Fidelity enterprise to inspire, identify, and define new paths for Fidelity’s future. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
