We are looking for individuals who are passionate about investment management, problem solving, building great things, and continuously improving, with solid leadership experience.The TeamThe Account Management Compute and Review team within Strategic Advisors Technology provides personalized portfolio management to Fidelity's over 3 million managed accounts customers, providing tax advantages and customizations all with the aim to help customers realize their investment goals.As a Principal Systems Analyst & Player Coach, you set overall purpose and vision for the work of a team, serving as the end-to-end gatekeeper of the mission, strategy, product life cycle and value creation. This is not just about gathering requirements & running workshops; it's about understanding the 'why' behind them. You will then work with your Development Team to translate Epics into user stories and deliver high quality, innovative and timely solutions.Outside of the development team you will work closely with Fidelity's Strategic Advisors portfolio engineers, investment architects and operations team to understand their vision and challenges. The Expertise and Skills You BringBachelor's degree (or above) in technology or finance related field7+ years of experience in business/systems analysis, product owner, and/or product managementExcellent communication, organization and planning, and presentation skills for your team and for executivesExperience working on distributed and multi-time zone teams.Proven expertise designing, developing, and maintaining large, complex, and dynamic products and solutionsAgile, Jira experience, preferably from a planning perspectiveFinancial services industry knowledge and experience vital, investment management and/or wealth management domain knowledge needed and financial optimizer experience a plusTranslate strategic objectives into consumable, actionable plans, that your team or product area can build fromDerive initiatives and end-to-end workflows that can be broken down into sub-initiatives, epics & stories with well-defined business value and designsTrack record of building highly engaged, industrious teams with a strong focus on execution and the ability to identify, communicate, and remove impedimentsEffective at running fusions for estimating and planning large efforts that articulate the project demands, assumptions, schedule, and risks, and help advise Product Area roadmap and capacity needsCapable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues on solutions, ways of working and tools without formal authority, many times outside of our direct team and in matrixed situationsInnovative, intellectually curious, and a team player who can continuously improve our culture, process, and tools, and encourage an agile way of workingPeople ManagementExperience identifying and acquiring talent needs; and resource planning and talent allocation across large organizationsExperience and passion for leading, coaching, mentoring and developing team of high performing System Analysts.Conduct regular 1:1s, performance discussions and talent development planning for approximately 8 Senior Systems Analysts Promote an inclusive, high engagement team culture focused on quality and continuous improvement encouraging innovation and skill developmentCategory:Information Technology
