A site of breathtaking natural beauty, Tropicalia is home to a diverse ecosystem of white-sand beaches; crystalline, aquamarine water and coral reefs; mountains, forests, mangroves, lagoons and rivers; a working coconut plantation; and an organic farm.Target start date for this role is September / OctoberWhat You Will DoSupport the execution of the resort’s technology, innovation, and data strategy.Oversee the day-to-day operation and performance of technology systems and infrastructure.Lead technology projects, upgrades, implementations, and system enhancements.Monitor cybersecurity practices and ensure compliance with security standards.Support data governance, reporting, and analytics initiatives across departments.Collaborate with operational teams to identify and implement technology-driven improvements.Drive innovation initiatives that enhance guest and employee experiences.Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and technology service providers.Coach, develop, and mentor technology team members to achieve operational excellence.What You BringMinimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in Information Technology within luxury hospitality or a comparable service-driven environment.Strong knowledge of hotel technology systems, networks, infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles.Experience leading technology projects and system implementations.Understanding of data analytics, reporting platforms, and data governance practices.Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging technology to drive business success.
