As an Infoblox Systems Engineer supporting the Government, you will be trusted to provide Enterprise Infoblox DDI and related services to the Government Agency’s internal/external partners and clients with a focus on stability and performance.In this role, a typical day may include:Investigating and diagnosing incidents and problems relating to DDI (Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM) and related servicesEnsuring the platforms and services are managed and maintainedHelping identify and manage risks within the DDI platformWorking with the Government lead and other service areas’ Architecture, Engineering & Operations leads and technical specialists, as well as professional services staff from vendors to implement the plan to deliver a strategic DDI platform and migrate all in-scope services from existing platformsEnsuring that system improvements and changes are implemented and monitoring effects of modificationsDefining the capacity and performance standards, metrics and thresholds and helping build the instrumentation to effectively manage the environmentWHAT YOU’LL NEED:Active TS/SCI clearance with PolygraphMeet DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements (e.g. Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, etc.) Core DDI Config and Admin (CDCA) certified Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field, or 12+ years of relevant IT experience in lieu of a degreeExtensive recent experience configuring and managing DNS in a large enterprise.Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, BIND, and NTPUnderstanding of broader technology domains such as storage, virtualization, networking, and data center operationsProven ability to troubleshoot complex cross-system issues, document root cause, and develop remediationsExperience with Python and APIs Self-driven, able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervisionStrong collaboration skills and ability to work across diverse technical teamsExcellent verbal and written communication skills#GDITCareers#WeAreGDIT#MD_Alumni2026#VA_Alumni2026#JETThe likely salary range for this position is $157,250 - $212,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
