From automating processes to leveraging smart factory technologies, robotics, and additive manufacturing, GE Aerospace is shaping the future of aviation at GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS).GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.Role Overview:Perform hand blending & polishing operations, followed by self-inspection of blended parts to the tolerance and specificationsRead and correct interpretation of Operation Sheets and perform to the expected requirementsPerform scheduled maintenance & housekeeping tasksThe Ideal Candidate: Minimum GCE 'O' level with 3 years of relevant experience, capable of performing hand blending and polishing operations, self-inspection, interpreting operation sheets accurately, and conducting scheduled maintenance and housekeeping tasks.Required Qualifications:Minimum GCE ‘O’ level with 3 years of relevant experience; or Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Precision Engineering or equivalent; orDiploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing EngineeringAble to read and understand the manufacturing operation sheets and standard operation procedures in EnglishPreferred Qualifications:Good mechanical aptitude.Knowledge in CNC programmingAbility to comprehend technical drawings/instructions Ability to use measuring instrumentsPreviously worked in a manufacturing environmentA team playerAdditional Information:At GE Aerospace, we are always searching for great talent. Required Qualifications
