Job Description SummaryWe are a proud member of the GE Aerospace global network, which ranks as one of the largest aircraft engines manufacturer in the world.We are part of the Avio Aero, a GE Aerospace company.In our facility in Prague we employ around 550 colleagues from all over the world.We design, produce, test and maintain turboprop aircraft engines.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesReviews design change proposals on behalf of manufacturing/supply chainInitiates, supports and tracks implementation of design changes in supply chain environmentProvides design change training to supply chain functions (e.g. manufacturing engineering, procurement, quality)Organizes and leads coordination meetingsFocal point between engineering and supply chain functionsControls timely implementation of changesSupports requests of design deviations risen by supply chainParticipates in process improvement activities, problem solving events and auditsEvaluates and updates existing procedures to reflect improvement opportunitiesRequired QualificationsUniversity bachelor’s degreeFluent in English and Czech languageCommunicative with other team members, including senior staffPrevious experience with configuration managementLean manufacturing focusDesired CharacteristicsMaster’s degree from mechanical engineering universityStructured, data driven approachProblem solving abilitiesOpen to learning new thingsStrong oral and written communication skillsWhat we offerAnnual bonus up to 10% of yearly salary.Monthly contribution of 6% of base salary to Cafeteria or Pension/Life Insurance, in addition another CZK 600/monthly to Cafeteria.Hybrid setting - after onboarding home office possible.Meal vouchers (130 CZK/day) fully paid by employer.Two extra weeks of paid vacation above the legal minimum (6 weeks total).Fresh fruit and vegetables at work twice a week.Multisport card contribution.Health Days (massages, specialist consultations, yoga sessions, wellness packages).Private on-site gym.Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
