Job Description SummaryThe Site Facilities, Infrastructure & EHS Leader – Strother is the senior site leader responsible for setting the standard for safety culture, operational discipline, and infrastructure performance across the site. This role leads Facilities/Infrastructure, Maintenance, Utilities, Security, and EHS, driving leadership accountability, employee ownership, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction while ensuring the long-term reliability, capacity, and readiness of the site’s physical plant to support business priorities and future growth.Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGE Aerospace is seeking a senior site leader to oversee Facilities/Infrastructure, Maintenance, Utilities, Security, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) at the Strother site. This role is ideal for a leader with a strong track record of driving safety culture transformation in a complex manufacturing, industrial, or other highly regulated environment.This leader will play a critical role in shaping a proactive, accountable, and engaged safety culture across the site — going beyond compliance to embed safety into daily operations, leadership behaviors, and decision-making. In addition, the role is responsible for the reliability, capacity, compliance, and long-term performance of the site’s facilities and infrastructure.As a key member of the site leadership team, this individual will lead site EHS, maintenance, facilities, utilities, and security strategies; oversee major capital and infrastructure investments; and partner across operations and engineering to support safe, reliable, and efficient performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the site’s Facilities/Infrastructure, Maintenance, Utilities, Security, and EHS functionsDrive a site-wide safety culture shift through leadership engagement, accountability, and employee ownershipEnsure compliance with environmental, health, safety, security, and facility-related regulationsLead site EHS strategy, risk reduction, and environmental stewardship effortsOwn the reliability, capacity, and long-term performance of the site’s physical plant and infrastructureDevelop and execute capital plans for infrastructure upgrades, modernization, and growthLead major facilities and utility projects, including building systems and critical infrastructureOversee maintenance and asset care strategies that improve uptime and operational continuityPartner with operations and engineering leaders to align site capability with business needsManage capital and operating budgets with strong financial disciplineLead contractors and external partners to ensure safe and effective executionBuild a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across the siteBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, facilities management, industrial technology, construction management, environmental health and safety, or a related technical fieldORHigh School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 9 years of experience in facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, plant engineering, EHS, or site operations leadership in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environmentPreferred QualificationsSignificant experience in EHS, facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, plant engineering, or technical operations leadershipDemonstrated success driving safety culture transformationExperience leading in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or other highly regulated environmentStrong people leadership and cross-functional influencing skillsExperience leading capital projects and infrastructure investmentsWorking knowledge of EHS and regulatory compliance requirementsExperience with maintenance, utilities, building systems, and site infrastructureStrong financial, communication, and problem-solving skills#LI-MO1This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering, facilities management, industrial technology, construction management, environmental health and safety, or a related technical field (degree in college in engineering)

  • Drive a site-wide safety culture shift through leadership engagement, accountability, and employee ownership

  • Lead site EHS strategy, risk reduction, and environmental stewardship efforts
  • Own the reliability, capacity, and long-term performance of the site’s physical plant and infrastructure
