On this job you will be learning essential knowledge about thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and its application when analyzing the health of an aero derivative engine LM2500 under different conditions and stages of its developmentJob DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesWill execute Conceptual or theoretical activities related to translating users' needs into the definition of a system, its architecture and design through an iterative process that results in an effective operational system and demands an interdisciplinary approach.Performs parametric studies regarding the interaction of the different component of the engineBroadening knowledge of own technical discipline to execute policy/strategy.May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.Makes use of statistical tools to provide answers.Looks for creative solutions and constantly finds ways to improve on the quality and response time of his work.Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.Present and substantiate results from his/her own work to senior leadership and direct manageRequired QualificationsCurrently enrolled in a Engineering MSc, either recently enrolled in a master program or at least 6 months prior graduation.
