Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle from contract execution to invoice processing and financial tracking, utilizing our global procurement platforms.
• Ensure financial data integrity by accurately recording cost centers, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and internal accounting codes to secure precise spend and accrual totals.
• Act as a key resource for functional and project variable cost spend management, supporting team decisions with clear data points.
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and streamlining efforts to maximize resource efficiency within a fast-paced contracting environment.
• Foster seamless asynchronous collaboration across global research, procurement, shared services, and finance teams.
• Partner with international affiliates to enhance inter-company billing operations and cross-functional PO workflows.
• Advise stakeholders and leadership on future spend forecasting derived from executed contracts and operational metrics.
• Contribute to departmental objectives and long-term strategic goals by challenging existing business practices and championing innovative workflows.

Benefits

• general: The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $112,100 - $208,300. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
