Because becoming the undisputed leader in food means surrounding ourselves with people who are hungry for what’s next.​ OVERVIEWAs the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program Coordinator, you will help implement and execute the program, supporting product compliance by partnering with ingredient suppliers and internal stakeholders worldwide to evaluate supplier management programs and ingredient test results against compliance requirements. You will make routine acceptability decisions, escalate issues, prepare stakeholder reports, and respond to emerging trends.As part of the Food Safety and Quality(FSQ) community, you will build deep knowledge of supplier chemical residue and contaminant compliance, gain exposure to global food regulatory affairs, and work across cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESImplement and execute the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program — rollout planning and communications, data system and operations improvements, evaluating supplier survey responses against General Mills expectations, assigning risk-based ingredient specifications, and reviewing certificates of analysis for compliance.Enter, manage, and analyze data, and compile and share routine reports for key stakeholders.Create and deliver training on program operations for a range of audiences.Partner with suppliers, General Mills Sourcing, and External Quality Management to resolve or escalate issues, and communicate required information to manufacturing sites to support audit readiness.Collaborate with regional and global partners on ingredient acceptability and emerging chemical residue and contaminant issues.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Science, Toxicology, Food Science, or a related field.Experience: 3+ years in food regulation and working with or for suppliers of food ingredients, including cross-functional teams and external partners.Technical Skills: Demonstrated understanding of food chemical safety and quality, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Soft Skills: Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize on tight deadlines and adapt to change.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with global food regulatory frameworks.Experience with global food chemical residue and contaminant topics. ELIGIBILITYApplicants must meet minimum age qualifications in the country in which the job is located.
