What We Have to Offer$28.00 per hour up to $32.00 per hour depending upon skillset and experienceAdditional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shiftsUp to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually 11 paid company holidaysPaid time off benefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, life insuranceCareer growth and cross-training opportunitiesYour Work Schedule and Shift Information8-hour shifts2nd shift: 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm3rd shift: 10:45 pm to 7:15 amCurrently hiring for 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift dependent upon business needMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, holidays and emergency events as neededPlant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment to improve reliability and operational performanceUnderstanding and following all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentInstalling, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipmentIdentifying/diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, electrical and/or electronic issuesManagement of work orders, parts requisition, and data entry through understanding and use of Maximo Maintenance Management SystemProviding technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modificationUnderstanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)Performing both uptime and down time preventative maintenanceEffectively communicate and productively interact with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors, vendors, visitors, etc.Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GEDMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)2+ years (minimum) experience in industrial maintenance or related industry experience and/or equivalent education in a related field/industryMust have a solid understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems, basic electrical troubleshooting skills, ability to diagnose problems, repair or replace components, preventative maintenance and attention to detailExperience with various tools and technologies, including hand tools, power tools, basic electrical skills including using a multimeter; checking voltage, testing motors, safely opening panels, resetting brakers, identifying faults and use of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Ability to work independently and as a team with flexibility to quickly shift work prioritiesAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens ELIGIBILITYApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.
