If you're looking for a safety-first environment where you can develop leadership skills, expand technical capabilities, and drive results, then GMI Geneva is an excellent place to build your career.What We Have to Offer$25.23 per hour starting payAdditional $2.00 per hour for night shiftUp to 120 hours of vacation annually 11 paid company holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, life insuranceCareer growth and cross-training opportunitiesYour Work Schedule and Shift Information12-hour shifts Day shift: 5:30 am to 6:00 pmNight shift: 5:30 pm to 6:00 amShift Schedule12-hour schedule: Work repeating 3 nights on, 2 nights off, 2 nights on, 3 nights off scheduleAbility and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and emergency eventsPlant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekKEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:Be responsible for parts room development and control, warehouse and inventory of maintenance parts, inventory accuracy and integrity with CMMS utilizationBe responsible for ordering or repair parts generated by the CMMS system and requisitioned by technicians and shift supervisorsBe responsible for receipt of replacement parts, supplies and miscellaneous shipments of machineryBe responsible for conducting monthly and annual inventoriesResearch and communicate with external vendors for competitive pricingComplete required documentation in a timely and accurate mannerParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSMinimum of a high school diploma or GEDMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)Experience in storeroom/parts management and inventory strongly preferredAbility to obtain and maintain forklift and/or Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV/POV) certificationBasic computer skills with the ability to use digital tools and systems to complete daily work tasksAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergensPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSManufacturing or production experience ELIGIBILITYApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification. Required Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (experience)
