What our employees value most about our site is our team environment and culture, as well as our many holiday events!What We Have to Offer$30.62 per hour up to $35.53 per hour depending upon skillset and experience​Shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shiftUp to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually 11 paid company holidaysPaid time off benefits401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, life insuranceCareer growth and cross-training opportunitiesYour Work Schedule and Shift Information8-hour shifts2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 amCurrently hiring for 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift dependent upon business needTwo days off per scheduled work weekMust be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, holidays and emergency events as neededPlant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment to improve reliability and operational performanceUnderstand and follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environmentInstall, maintain, repair, and replace industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipmentIdentify/diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, electrical and/or electronic issuesManage work orders, parts requisition, and data entry through understanding and use of Maximo Maintenance Management SystemProvide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modificationUnderstand, initiate, and participate in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)Perform both uptime and down time preventative maintenanceEffectively communicate and productively interact with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors, vendors, visitors, etc.Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or GEDMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)2 years (minimum) maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting with electrical experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including completion of an accredited maintenance or industrial technical program (such as an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or Technical Manufacturing)Understanding of PLC operation, industrial electrical components and systems troubleshootingMust have a solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems, ability to diagnose problems, repair or replace components, preventative maintenance and attention to detailExperience with various tools and technologies, including hand tools, power tools, electrical test equipment and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Ability to work independently and as a team with flexibility to quickly shift work prioritiesAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens ELIGIBILITYApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipment
  • Identify/diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, electrical and/or electronic issues

  • Provide technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modification
  • Understand, initiate, and participate in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)
