Job Description Establish and govern the organization’s emergency response policies, frameworks, and command activation processes. Ensure the company is prepared for network incidents, disasters, and crises through structured readiness, cross-functional coordination, and regulatory compliance.Establish and govern the organization’s emergency response policies, frameworks, and command activation processes. Ensure the company is prepared for network incidents, disasters, and crises through structured readiness, cross-functional coordination, and regulatory compliance.Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain and enforce the Emergency Response Governance Framework for network-impacting events.Define incident classification levels, escalation pathways, and RCMT activation criteria.Lead the structured activation and management of the RCMT.Ensure accurate and timely SITREPs, dashboards, and executive communications during incidents.Align cross-domain activities across Core, Transport, Access, Power, IT, and Field Operations.Oversee readiness, maintenance, and compliance of response playbooks and command structures.Facilitate command drills, tabletop exercises, and emergency simulations.Ensure proper handover to Network Recovery & Normalization post-incident.Advise NRRO Department Head and LT/ELT on incident status, risks, and mitigation measures.Top Deliverables:NRRO Emergency Response Governance Framework (updated annually)DRT Activation Playbooks & Incident Classification ProtocolsSITREP & Executive Dashboard TemplatesCommand Drill and Simulation Completion ReportsPost-Event Handover & Lessons Learned ReportsCompetencies:Crisis Leadership & CommandStrategic Decision-Making Under PressureIncident Governance & ControlMulti-Stakeholder CoordinationCommunication & Information ManagementSkills:Incident escalation and reportingTelecommunication network knowledge (Core, Transport, Access, Power)Analytical & rapid decision-makingCross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement Hiring Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Risk Management, or related field.5+ years in network operations, disaster recovery, emergency response governance, or crisis management.   • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Risk Management, or related field. (degree in engineering)
  • 5+ years in network operations, disaster recovery, emergency response governance, or crisis management. (experience, 5 years)
