Advanced Biomedical Scientist – Haematology & BiochemistryLondon, London Bridge Hospital LaboratoryFixed Term Contract – 14 monthsFull time, Monday to Friday with weekend cover as requiredShift patterns include 7.30am – 4pm, 8am – 4.30pm, 10.30am – 7pm and 12.30pm – 9pmSalary: CompetitiveEvery result matters. We’re looking for an Advanced / Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our Blood Sciences Laboratory at The London Bridge Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. As part of a multidisciplinary laboratory team, you’ll work in a fast paced and highly collaborative environment where your expertise is valued and your development is supported.As an Advanced Biomedical Scientist within our Blood Sciences Laboratory, you’ll play an important role in delivering a high quality 24 hour pathology service. Working across Haematology, Biochemistry and Specimen Reception, you’ll develop broad multidisciplinary expertise while supporting the efficient operation of the laboratory. Alongside analytical and diagnostic responsibilities, you’ll contribute to the day to day running of the department, helping to maintain quality standards, support service improvements and ensure timely, accurate results for clinicians and patients.
