Working alongside experienced theatre practitioners, consultants and anaesthetic teams, you’ll help maintain exceptional standards of patient care within a fast paced and rewarding environment. Beyond delivering specialist recovery care, you'll mentor and support colleagues, contribute to the development of best practice and help shape a positive team culture where learning and professional growth are actively encouraged. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.What you’ll do:Provide clinical leadership within the recovery area, ensuring safe, effective and evidence based patient care.Prepare and manage the recovery environment according to individual patient and consultant requirements.Assess, plan, monitor and evaluate patient care throughout the recovery phase.Act as a role model, sharing specialist recovery knowledge and supporting best practice across the team.Mentor, support and assess colleagues, contributing to their ongoing development and competence.What you’ll bring:Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner qualification with current professional registration.Significant post registration theatre experience within a UK healthcare setting.Completion of a recognised critical care or post anaesthetic recovery courseProven experience of independently running a recovery unit.Demonstrable ability to provide clinical leadership and support the development of colleagues.Why HCA UK?Originally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has gone on to become one of the world’s leading healthcare providers.
