At Glasgow Medical Health Centre, you’ll have 30–90 minutes with each patient to do exactly that.As an Advanced Health Screening Doctor, you’ll see predominantly corporate patients who are motivated to understand and improve their health. Using a detailed pre-assessment questionnaire, you’ll explore lifestyle, risk and long-term wellbeing, supported by HCA UK’s advanced diagnostics, Consultant expertise and central patient navigation teams.What you’ll do:You will see between 5-8 private patients per dayDeliver comprehensive, personalised health assessmentsReview detailed patient questionnaires and clinical findingsPerform bloods, smear tests, prostate checks, ECGs among many other assessments.Provide meaningful personalised practical advice on lifestyle, prevention and long-term healthComplete detailed health screening reports in a timely mannerWork with GPs and Consultants to arrange appropriate specialist referrals and follow-up using HCAs patient navigation teamsWork with onsite Multi Disciplinary Teams in the Health Centre.What we’re looking for: We’re looking for a special kind of GP to join us – someone who is excited to grow, learn new skills and who shares our proactive, patient-first approach with a genuine interest in preventative and lifestyle medicine. As well as this you’ll:Hold a GMC registration and inclusion on the GP register (performers list not required)Have a minimum of 1 year post qualification experienceBe able to conduct smear tests, vaccinations, blood draws, and ECGsDemonstrate basic health screening skills, though full training will be provided for advanced diagnostics unique to HCA UKHave strong communication and IT skills.Why choose HCA UK Primary Care?
