Senior Staff Nurse – OncologyLocation: London, Private Care at Guy’s (Part of London Bridge Hospital)Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per weekContract: Permanent Salary: Competitive and Excellent benefits We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Staff Nurse to join our specialist cancer nursing team at Private Care at Guy’s, part of London Bridge Hospital. This state-of-the-art cancer centre has been rated Outstanding by the CQC and is one of the UK’s most advanced private oncology facilities, offering a full range of services including theatres, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and dedicated oncology and surgical wards.As a centre of excellence, we are proud to be at the cutting edge of clinical innovation. Our team delivers pioneering treatments such as robotic surgery, JACIE-accredited stem cell transplants for blood cancers and Multiple Sclerosis, and revolutionary bispecific antibody therapies—available exclusively in the private sector through our hospital.In this role, you’ll play a vital part in providing holistic, high-quality care to patients across all stages of cancer treatment. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients receiving chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapies, and other Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT).Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and implementing personalised care plans, safely administering treatments, and managing complex symptoms with a focus on pain control, nutrition, and emotional support. You’ll also be a key advocate for your patients, ensuring their physical and psychological needs are met with empathy and professionalism.Alongside the above responsibilities, leadership will be underpinning your role; you will assume the responsibilities of the Charge Nurse, which is including shift leading, dynamic decision making, collaborating on staffing to align with patient allocation.
