This role provides strategic leadership for broker distribution, market growth, operational execution, talent development, and broker engagement while ensuring alignment with enterprise sales priorities.The position partners closely with Market Finance, Provider Performance & Engagement (PPE), Network Management, Contracting, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product, Compliance, and executive leadership to identify growth opportunities, remove enrollment barriers, strengthen broker relationships, and execute local market growth strategies. The Senior Sales Manager, Medicare Regional Sales, is accountable for achieving membership growth, executing market strategies, developing high-performing sales professionals, strengthening broker partnerships, driving market performance, and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Regular travel throughout the assigned territory is required.Required Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Minimum of five (5) years of Medicare sales, managed care, health insurance, or related healthcare sales experience. Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience leading sales teams, broker distribution, or field-based sales organizations.Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding sales, membership growth, and performance objectives. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and the Medicare Advantage marketplace. Current resident Health and Life Insurance License, or the ability to obtain and maintain licensure in accordance with company guidelines. Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze sales performance, identify market opportunities, and develop strategic action plans.Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and executive communication skills.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with brokers, agencies, providers, community organizations, and cross-functional business partners.Proven leadership, coaching, performance management, and talent development skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with experience using data to drive business decisions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), and sales reporting tools. Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory. Experience developing and executing strategic growth plans.Experience presenting business strategies and performance updates to executive leadership.Preferred Job Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.Experience leading a Medicare broker distribution across multiple states or large geographic territoriesExperience developing strategic broker partnerships and executing market growth initiatives. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Network Management, Provider Performance & Engagement (PPE). Contracting, Finance, Marketing, and Sales Operations. Working knowledge of Salesforce and other sales performance reporting platforms. Experience leading geographically dispersed field sales teams across multiple markets.
