The Consumer Segment team is an entrepreneurial, multi-functional team within Humana’s Enterprise Growth unit. The team is focused on driving industry leading membership growth, retention, and health outcomes by identifying new consumer insights, developing growth strategies, and activating them across the enterprise to serve the unique needs of prioritized segments.Humana is seeking an experienced team member with meaningful strategy consulting or healthcare strategy experience to join this team. As a Strategy Advancement Advisor, you will support the development and implementation of consumer segment strategies that drive growth and retention while optimizing member experience and outcomes. You’ll collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to frame up business questions, conduct analyses, and recommend solutions. You will help answer key strategic business questions that arise during the annual product/sales cycle across multiple domains, including product design, plan footprint, marketing and sales performance, membership analytics, customer/provider satisfaction and more. You will proactively identify new consumer insights and create business cases to support new pilots and initiatives to address critical unmet consumer needs.Identifying and delivering new avenues of growth is a critical company priority. You will proactively identify new consumer insights and create business cases to support new pilots and initiatives to address critical unmet consumer needs.Key Responsibilities Include:Serving as a strategic and operational product manager for one or more projects, consumer segments, and/or innovative pilot, including but not limited to managing analyses and/or workstreams, such as Marketing, Sales, Digital and other go-to-market effortsConducting industry/market analysis related to growth and competition, turning analyses into meaningful insights that will inform growth and product strategyCreating and owning the development of executive-level presentations and communications, including key deliverable updates and escalations.Being consumer obsessed through exploration of innovative new pilots, deepening insights through quantitative and qualitative consumer research, and simplifying/enhancing consumer and agent experiencesDeveloping MA product framework that provides leaders with portfolio/plan level performance analysisUse your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications7+ years of full-time relevant strategic work experience, ideally post-MBAPrevious strategy experience in a healthcare or management consulting organization Strong leadership and stakeholder management, including the ability to build trust and credibility with senior business leaders and influence decision-making across the enterpriseExperience leading complex, strategic initiatives in a large matrixed organizationSuperior problem-solving skills and the ability to perform complex qualitative and quantitative analyses to drive actionable insightsExperience leveraging consumer insights to design and implement new products/services/solutionsExceptional verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated experience developing and delivering engaging and informative presentations at an executive levelHighly collaborative, adaptable, and able to lead through ambiguity in a dynamic environmentPreferred QualificationsMBA, MPH, or other graduate degreePrior healthcare industry experience, preferably in the managed care of provider sectorWork at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required. Scheduled Weekly Hours40Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $138,200 - $190,100 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
