Job Details:Job Description: The Role and ImpactJoin Intel as a Module Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the production of advanced integrated circuits. In this position, you will own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes, ensuring precision and minimizing defects. Your contributions will directly impact manufacturing efficiency, quality, and scalability, enabling Intel to maintain its leadership in semiconductor innovation.Business GroupThe role is part of Intel's Assembly Test Manufacturing (ATM) division, which serves as the backbone of Intel's back-end manufacturing operations. ATM supports Intel's diverse portfolio of products across key business segments, including client, server, automotive, and connectivity. The group focuses on advanced packaging and manufacturing technologies to deliver competitive solutions, aligning with Intel's IDM 2.0 strategy to drive innovation and global leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to achieve production efficiency, quality, and cost goals.Conduct tests and measurements to control critical dimensions and minimize defectivity in production lines.Recommend and implement modifications to improve operational efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and output performance.Expand high-volume manufacturing capacity to demonstrate technology capabilities and ensure seamless transfer to global manufacturing sites.Execute equipment maintenance, repair activities, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with safety, quality, productivity, and yield metrics.Develop systems for excursion prevention and identify discrepant material or activities within equipment and processes.Manage equipment installation, conversion, and qualification to ensure safe and quality operations during factory ramps.Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and high-volume production readiness.Facilitate technology transfers through training, audits, and ensuring consistent processing across sites.Qualifications:Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related Engineering fields, with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or training. OR Master's degree in a relevant field with no prior professional experience.Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven problem-solving methods.Experience managing equipment maintenance, process improvement, and defect detection systems.Technical skills in mechanical design, electrical circuitry, and software tools such as JMP or SQL Pathfinder.Ability to work effectively in cleanroom environments with proper PPE.Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with semiconductor assembly equipment and processes.Knowledge of design of experiments (DOE), failure modes/effects analysis (FMEA), and process optimization techniques.Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.Experience with Phyton, Power BI, SQL Pathfinder, or relevant scripting tools.Flexibility to handle multi-task operations and adapt to changing priorities.Self-starter with a proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive initiatives independently.Join Intel's team and contribute your expertise to shaping the future of manufacturing processes.
