Job Summary:The Associate Manager, Specimen Management leads a team and oversees daily operations to ensure departmental goals are achieved with quality, efficiency, and compliance. This role supports operational improvement, resource planning, and employee development while driving performance on a Tuesday - Saturday shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. What You'll Be Doing:Supervise, mentor, and develop staff to drive high performance and engagementSet daily operational objectives and coordinate team workflows to meet business demandMonitor operational metrics to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunitiesEnsure compliance with quality control systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirementsSupport capacity planning, resource allocation, and equipment justificationLead team meetings and promote collaboration, communication, and alignmentServe as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issuesSupport audit readiness and oversee timely and effective audit responses What We Are Looking For:Bachelor's Degree or other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree3-4 years of prior experience in supervising, leading, or coordinating teams.Understanding of operations, methods, and quality systemsKnowledge of quality control systems, SOPs, and regulatory requirementsOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilitiesExcellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsEffective communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate workStrong accountability and results orientation in a fast-paced operational environment What We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
