Job Description

We are seeking a resilient, strategic, and self-driven Key Account Manager (m/f/d) in Germany to further expand our footprint in the Cardioplegia market through a client-dedicated role. You will be responsible for driving the customer journey experience in hospitals that undergo open-heart surgeries. Across your territory you will manage all customer activities, engaging with key stakeholders, and navigating complex healthcare systems.This role offers the opportunity to help shape the adoption of a novel therapeutic approach in cardioplegia. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about advancing patient care and supporting the integration of innovative treatment options into routine clinical practice.Key Responsibilities:Serves as the primary driver for establishing and expanding relationships with all key and secondary accounts, effectively opening doors and unlocking sales opportunitiesDevelop and execute a regional access and sales strategy aligned with company goals.Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, prescribers, and healthcare decision-makers.Identify and prioritize target customers through CRM analysis and customer record management.Create and implement a territory business plan to ensure product availability in hospital pharmacies.Support the introduction of novel therapeutic approaches by engaging with healthcare professionals and facilitating the integration of new treatment options into clinical practice.Educate stakeholders on the value proposition of our product portfolio.Identify access barriers and develop tailored solutions to gain market entry and drive adoption.Lead local market access initiatives and support internal teams with training and market insights.Ensuring product availability after successful price negotiations with heads of pharmacies in cooperation with Market Access teamQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related field. Hospital Nurse or/and Perfusionist background are welcome. (degree in life sciences or a related field)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical / medtech access or sales (experience, 5 years)
  • Experience in Cardiology and pharmaceuticals used in operating room environments is a strong advantage. (experience)
  • Existing network of cardiac surgeons a plus (experience)
  • Fluency in German and good English. (experience)
  • Deep understanding of national and local healthcare systems. (experience)
  • Proven ability to open new markets and drive access strategies. (experience)
