Support daily lab operations through specimen analysis, result documentation, material preparation, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.What You'll Be Doing:Perform routine analysis of specimens and document results in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelinesEvaluate the validity of analytical results against algorithms displayed by the laboratory computer systemIdentify, document, and escalate potential performance errors or unusual results to senior laboratory personnelPrepare buffers and solutions required for analysis and manage post-analysis sample and reagent storageAssist with laboratory housekeeping, supply monitoring, and communication with cross-functional stakeholdersWhat We Are Looking For:High School Diploma or equivalent required, or a Bachelor’s Degree; some CAP/CLIA lab locations may require a BS in chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology6 months relevant lab experience Req Or Equivalent combination of education, training and experience ReqBasic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and applicable regulatory agency standardsKnowledge of laboratory safety and infection control procedures and practices including standard precautions and hazardous chemical handlingOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeThe Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflowAbility to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and communicate clearly, accurately, and in a timely mannerBasic computer skills and knowledge of laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and terminology used in the area of responsibilityWhat We Offer You:We put our employees at the center of everything we do and are committed to providing them, and their families, with benefits that meet their diverse and changing needs. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
