Job Summary:The Logistics Technician supports laboratory operations by ensuring the timely, accurate, and cost-effective shipment of consignments. This role maintains shipping documentation, inventory of shipping supplies, and compliance with Good Clinical Practice requirements. Schedule will be Monday - Friday from 11:30 am to 8 pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. What You'll Be Doing:Prepare package address labels, invoices, and shipping documentation using courier systemsVerify and maintain shipping address databanks within QLIMSPerform quality control checks on shipping documentation and recordsCheck shipments against manifests to ensure accuracy and completenessMonitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and notify supervisors when replenishment is neededMaintain professional standards for all photocopied and generated paperworkKeep the work area clean, organized, and operationally efficient What We Are Looking For:High School Diploma or equivalent required1 year of related experience - can be in packing, shipping, international shipping preferredBasic computer skills - experience using Microsoft Office SuiteExperience using QLIMS and courier shipping systems preferredAbility to prepare and maintain shipping documentation and manifests accuratelyOther equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail skillsAbility to solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environmentProven ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clientsAbility to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracyPhysical Demands (Included per location/grade requirement):Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints).
