Job Title:Part TechnicianDepartment:MaintenanceCountry:United States of AmericaState/Province:TexasCity:DallasFull/Part Time:Full timeJob Summary:Under close supervision, this position is responsible for gaining foundational knowledge to assist with ensuring parts are available to truck and trailer technicians for repairs. The incumbent will assist in the management of inventory stock levels, perform audits, and submit orders to maintain an adequate supply of parts. Maintain information systems and processed core and warranty returns according to Company requirements. This position has the possibility to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends in addition to overtime; it requires full-time attendance.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Shadow a senior team member to learn how to fulfill parts requests by technicians and ensure parts are properly charged to the unit under repairObserve all Company safety requirementsPerforms other duties as assignedEnsure compliance with safety policiesMaintain a clean, well-ordered work environment free of trash and hazardsConduct Cycle Counts as requiredReceive inbound shipments of parts and fuel to ensure proper quantity ordered and free of damage; stock inbound parts to the proper storage location and update information systemsQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent; ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.Preferred Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent and up to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and valid driver's license.Ability to multitaskAbility to work as part of a teamBasic deductive reasoning skillsExperience working in a fast-paced environmentProficient active listening skillsProficient organizational skillsProficient time management skillsSelf-motivationAbility to fulfill physical requirements of the job including lifting above 50 lbs, bending, stooping, pushing, and pullingAbility to wear appropriate work attire (protective gear/PPE)$1,500 sign-on bonus available for a limited time This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.Compensation:Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
