The Critical Environments Operations Center Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the Critical Environments Operations Center and team. The Operations Center is responsible for monitoring and responding (24/7) to critical alarms and events that impact the buildings and employees in the portfolio. The manager will work closely with the Director of Operations and other members of the CE team to ensure the CE Operations Center is operating efficiently and effectively.Primary responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of 8 Utility EngineersMonitor and respond to critical alarms and eventsDevelop and implement procedures and policiesWork with the Director of Operations to ensure that the Operations Center is aligned with the company's strategyConduct performance reviews of team membersConduct weekly team meetingsConduct 1 on 1’s with team membersProvide training and development opportunities for team membersRepresent the team at company meetings and eventsMonitor general SLA’s and KPI’s to identify basic performance deficienciesEnsure basic compliance with standard operating procedures, industry standards, management practices and predefined internal processes.Adhere to standard facility maintenance procedures and escalate obvious hardware or mechanical issues or failuresFollow existing operational processes, procedures and workflows, making suggestions for improvementDevelop business relationships with other CE team members and partner department team membersAdditional responsibilities may be assigned at any time as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3+ years of experience in a critical operations center environmentDemonstrable service & experience led leadership styleStrong understanding of facilities infrastructure and operationsStrong knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and other products in the suiteExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentExperience with BMS, BAS or BACSExperience with WebCTRL, Distech or equivalentExperience managing Union employees This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Estimated compensation for this position:126,600.00 – 166,360.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
