Facilities AssistantWhat this job involves:As a Facilities Assistant at JLL, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our clients' workplaces run smoothly and efficiently every single day. This position is all about being the boots on the ground—supporting the facilities management team in maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming environments where people can do their best work. You'll handle a diverse range of responsibilities, from coordinating maintenance requests and conducting regular inspections to supporting vendor management and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This role offers excellent exposure to the full spectrum of facilities operations and provides a strong foundation for anyone looking to build a rewarding career in facilities management.What your day-to-day will look like:Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls, coordinating with vendors and technicians to ensure timely resolutionConduct routine building inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for operational improvementsMaintain accurate records of work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, and compliance documentationSupport space planning initiatives by tracking occupancy, coordinating moves, and ensuring workspaces are set up to meet client needsMonitor building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and security to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiencyAssist with health and safety compliance by conducting regular audits, maintaining safety equipment, and supporting emergency preparedness programsCoordinate with cleaning crews, security personnel, and other service providers to maintain high standards across all facilitiesCommunicate proactively with building occupants to address concerns, provide updates on maintenance activities, and gather feedbackSupport sustainability initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and promoting environmentally responsible practicesRequired qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1–2 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, property management, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing prioritiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service mindsetBasic understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health and safety regulationsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn facilities management software systemsPhysical ability to conduct site inspections, which may include walking extensively, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting up to 25 poundsPreferred qualifications:Diploma in facilities management, business administration, or a related fieldExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order platformsFamiliarity with sustainability practices and green building certifications such as LEED or BREEAMBasic technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systemsPrevious experience working in a corporate office environment or commercial real estate settingLocation: On-site –SingaporeIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements. Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (experience)
  • 1–2 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, property management, or a related field (experience, 2 years)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively to changing priorities (experience)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-service mindset (experience)
  • Basic understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health and safety regulations (experience)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn facilities management software systems (experience)
  • Physical ability to conduct site inspections, which may include walking extensively, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma in facilities management, business administration, or a related field (experience)
  • Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or work order platforms (experience)
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices and green building certifications such as LEED or BREEAM (certification)
  • Basic technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, or plumbing systems (experience)
  • Previous experience working in a corporate office environment or commercial real estate setting (experience)
