What this job involvesThe Project Manager, Facilities leads multiple facility maintenance, capital improvement and space optimization projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery that meets quality, schedule and budget expectations. This role oversees site construction activities, vendor performance, financial management and stakeholder communication. Success requires a blend of technical construction expertise, strong project leadership and exceptional client management capabilities.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesDevelop comprehensive project plans including scope, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting and risk managementCoordinate cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, vendors and contractors to achieve project objectives Implement project management best practices and methodologies to drive consistency and qualitySupport site teams with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and closeout activitiesAssist annual project creation, budgeting and scheduling for the client’s Capital PlanMonitor project financials and budgets to ensure effective cost controlServe as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, building occupants and senior leadershipManage vendor and contractor relationships, including RFP processes, contract negotiations and performance oversightImplement quality control and assurance practices, including conducting regular project auditsEnsure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, environmental standards and corporate policiesContinuously evaluate and improve project management approaches, tools and methodologiesCommunicate project status, milestones and risks clearly and effectively to diverse audiencesCollaborate with Client Real Estate, Finance and business leaders to align facility initiatives with organizational goals Requirements5–10 years of progressive facility management and project management experienceExceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detailStrong knowledge of construction project management, building codes and regulatory requirementsProven ability to manage 10-15 facilities projects simultaneouslyExcellent financial and budget management skillsStrong stakeholder management and client relationship capabilitiesExperience with quality assurance and construction risk managementSolid understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety and specialty construction such as clean rooms)Proficiency with project management software (MS Project, AdaptiveWork or similar tools)undefinedPreferred qualificationsDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related fieldPMP certification or other recognized project management credentialKnowledge of continuous improvement methodologiesBackground in implementing facilities management best practicesStrong experience in construction risk mitigation strategiesDemonstrated history of process innovation and operational efficiency improvementsExperience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and facility management platformsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting and risk management
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams such as engineering, operations, vendors and contractors to achieve project objectives

  • Support site teams with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and closeout activities
  • Assist annual project creation, budgeting and scheduling for the client’s Capital Plan
