What this Job Involves:Our Transaction Management team helps clients strategize, evaluate and execute real estate transactions to meet their business and occupancy needs. The Senior Transaction Manager will join the New York Accounts team, supporting a multinational investment bank and financial services company as a key account. This role involves managing and executing complex lease and/or capital transactions while fostering client relationships and driving business growth.The position is responsible for overseeing regular reporting, budgets, cash flow forecasts, memoranda documenting significant client issues, and strategic planning. The Senior Transaction Manager will work primarily in a leadership capacity on complex projects, functioning either independently or as part of a team, and will supervise the workload of Analysts and potentially other Transaction Managers.Additional responsibilities include directing special projects and assignments as needed. The ideal candidate will manage and collaborate with professionals across various disciplines and business units, demonstrating experience in successfully managing complex projects to completion, thinking strategically, acting proactively, fostering growth of junior talent and building strong client trust and confidence.Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship ManagementAssume key transaction responsibilities for strategic clientsProvide advice on client transactionsAttend regular client meetings and conference callsImprove client transaction management processesWork directly with clients and team members to resolve financial model, transaction and landlord issuesManage building tours with clientsManage transaction reporting to the clientsTransactions SupportIndependently manage and execute complex, large, and mid-size transactions with high level of proficiency and knowledgeDeliver measurable value by negotiating favorable economic and flexible lease terms for clientsCollaborate with IT to customize reports, dashboards, and analytics specific to account team requirementsAssist clients in completing numerous transactions annually while adhering to JLL's and the client's processes and standards for expertise and professionalismActively monitor progress of assigned transactions and those of direct reportsCollect client requirements, obtain market data, review market reports, retain real estate broker partners nationally, oversee site selection and evaluationCreate requests for proposals (RFPs), negotiate letters of intent, leases, purchase and sale agreements, and prepare approval packages for client's senior managementDevelop occupancy cost savings strategies, evaluate alternative occupancy solutions and financial structures, and refine existing transaction processesMonitor and verify commission invoices for accuracy and payment status; maintain and ensure timely updates to the Dealio transaction tracking systemTeam LeadershipCoach and develop direct reports to reach their full potentialLead a diverse team effectivelyFoster the growth of junior talentInterested? An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree required; Master's, MBA or other advanced degree strongly preferred10-15 years of relevant work experience with at least 4-8 years as a Transaction Manager in commercial real estateProven transaction management experience with demonstrated skills in contract review and lease/purchase and sale negotiationsExperience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectivesSolid understanding of financial and accounting impactsStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsExcellent negotiating, analytical, collaboration, organization/planning, and process management abilitiesStrong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence/data analyticsOutstanding client service skillsProven ability to manage a teamThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
