About the Role:This position provides technical and contractual quality assurance for an investment banking client's corporate offices and Colocation Data Center (COLO DC) in Hong Kong.The role encompasses oversight of all technical operations, ensuring compliance with country, regional, and global technical standards. Responsibilities include leading improvement initiatives, managing on-site technicians, operations staff, and vendor partners, while serving as the technical subject matter expert for complex challenges.The role also supports the regional engineering team in managing the Hong Kong Colocation Data Center, focusing on master services agreement compliance and ongoing technical compliance monitoring. What this job involves:Transforming to the Workplace Team of the futureResolve technical issues promptly to enhance occupant experience and maintain service continuityEscalate complex technical challenges through appropriate channels when requiredDeliver exceptional service standards through meticulous attention to detailIdentify and implement opportunities to improve technical service delivery across the workplaceServe as a trusted partner in delivering all GRE requirements aligned with client operations and engineering codesDrive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of operational excellenceProactively manage technicians and engineers to ensure optimal team performanceImplement and manage change control processes effectivelyUnderstand the operational & technical requirements of the site and ensure that current contracts are maintained to provide necessary supplies and servicesClient/Stakeholder ManagementMeet and exceed all client contract requirements and Key Performance IndicatorsDeliver exceptional service quality as demonstrated through positive client feedbackCommunicate effectively with clients and vendors to create outstanding customer experiencesCollaborate with all stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of servicesSupport the Technical Services Lead in managing client relationshipsLeadership / Staff Management/ Team ParticipationProvide coaching and mentoring to engineers and team membersGuide staff in developing personal development plans and conduct regular performance reviewsEncourage knowledge sharing of best practices and innovative ideas within the Workplace Experience TeamOperations & Contract ManagementManage, review, and execute all engineering and technical service contracts, including quality assurance and inspectionsDevelop and implement building procedures (MOP/SOP/EOP) and performance measures to ensure work accuracy and system reliabilityImplement innovative programs to reduce utility costs, increase productivity, and generate cost savingsEstablish and maintain best-in-class maintenance standards and practices across building operationsOversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize risk of critical equipment failuresContribute to monthly management reports and conduct data analysis as neededAssist in preparing strategic plans, budgets, and client reports, including financial reconciliation for service contractsCoordinate, manage, and oversee vendors delivering workplace-related servicesEnsure service deliverables meet established SLAs and KPIsSafety, Compliance & Risk ManagementImplement and manage risk and safety work practices to prevent service interruptionsMaintain all safety procedures, including Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Emergency Response protocolsEnsure compliance with statutory regulations on fire, health, and safety standardsPrepare comprehensive risk assessments for service deliveryConduct regular process audits to verify adherence to established proceduresRespond to critical out-of-hours issues and serve as a key team member during emergency situations, site attendance if requiredLocation & MobilityBased on-site at client offices with mobility required to cover multiple locations as neededRequired Skills and Experience:University degree or equivalent professional qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Facilities ManagementMinimum 5 years of practical experience in Engineering, Data Center Operations, and ManagementBackground in managing complex building systems and critical infrastructureREW B0 certification is advantageous but not mandatoryExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills to build relationships across diverse teams and key stakeholdersStrong analytical, organization and administration skillsEnergetic and results-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environmentsStrong customer-centric mindset with dedication to delivering exceptional service experiencesHighly adaptable and flexible, capable of responding swiftly to evolving client needs and requirementsCapability in navigating challenging situations while maintaining service excellenceLocation: On-site –Hong Kong, SAR, ChinaIf this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
